His journey is one of determination, ambition, and backbone.  Through life’s toughest fires, he found strength and purpose—and now he brings that same fire to every brisket, slab of ribs, and homemade side. Adversity was only training grounds and rejection was redirection. He applied this to life and work regardess of venture. This is what started as a love for bold, Texas-style BBQ. It became a calling: to serve incredible food and inspire others to keep going, no matter what life throws their way and against all odds. The heart and the spirit of the underdog should NEVER be underestimated. 

Every menu item at Uprise BBQ comes with a side of motivation.
Not just pickled onions and potato salad—but real encouragement. Pedro adds personal motivational quotes and uplifting messages to each dish, reminding every customer that greatness is always within reach.
